NISA Homes Fundraisers
Approximately 27.3% of the homeless population in Canada are reported to be women. Approximately more than ⅓ of youth/children experiencing homelessness in Canada are from Ontario. We need to work on these stats until they are 0.
Champions of Change UTM wanted to work towards this change. We’re so proud to say that we raised $2,053 and collected over 500 items for @nisahomes.
We had two fundraisers for Nisa Homes, one in February 2019 where Champions of Change UTM raised $408. The other fundraiser was in April 2021. Champions of Change UTM (raised $848) partnered with Boss Women UTM (raised $473) and ASA Western (raised $324).
