Pink Untaxed

Basic hygiene should not be a financial burden on students, nor should it cost them their education. Given the pandemic-related setbacks on both of these factors, menstrual equity is vital to post-COVID recovery and building healthy communities. This project aims to achieve that by eradicating period poverty on campus through the means of providing a range of menstrual hygiene products with resources to students free of cost. Giving the freedom to choose and receive support without discrimination ensures the safety, accessibility, and affordability of menstrual products as well as enhances the quality of campus life for all students. After a summer of rigorous preparation, dedicated team effort, and earning necessary funding, the period pantries are set to launch September 2021. They are to be maintained for an extended period of time to aid students and promote healthy campus-life.
